This particular client wanted to mimic the original stonework used on the external part of the property and literally bring the outside of the house, in! For a lot of people, this would have been an easy brief. They’d simply use the same stone. But we wanted to go much further. In using the same stone, we wanted to give the home a warm, natural and intimate feeling. Clever use of pools of light, curved lines and soft greys and we achieved this.
